Privacy note

This site has no accounts and no advertising. What it does collect is small enough to describe completely.

Reading the site

Pages are served from Cloudflare. Server logs record requests as Cloudflare handles them; this site does not build reader profiles from them. If analytics is enabled it is Google Analytics 4 in its default aggregation, without advertising features, and it is the only script on the page.

Submitting an entry

• Stored: the fields you type, the language you wrote in, the date, and a hash of your IP address — SHA-256 over the address plus a secret kept on the server — used only to rate-limit repeat submissions.
• Published: headline, summary, details, organisation, location, budget, tags, and the public handle — and only after a person approves the entry. Your name and email are never published.
• Not stored: your IP address in plain form, cookies, device fingerprints, or any advertising identifier.

Removal

Email contact@fdewiki.org with the entry's headline and it will be removed from the public index, along with the stored record, unless it is needed to resolve an active dispute. Approved entries are also removed when the person who posted them asks, without needing a reason.

The weekly letter

If you use the subscribe box, the address you type is stored so the letter can be sent. It is used for nothing else, it is never published, and there is no confirmation email — the box says "subscribed" and that is the whole opt-in. Ask and the address is deleted with the same email address used for removals.

Third parties

Cloudflare serves and protects the site. Google Analytics may count visits. There are no other third-party scripts, no fonts fetched from a CDN other than this one, and no embedded social widgets.
