Editorial and attribution policy

Last updated 2026-10-30

Most of what is on this site was learned from other people's writing. That creates obligations, and this page states them plainly rather than burying them in a footer.

Distillation, not republication

No source text is reproduced wholesale. Articles restate a method in this site's own structure, then argue about it: where it holds, where it breaks, and what it leaves out. Direct quotations are short, attributed inline, and used only where the exact wording carries something a paraphrase would lose.

Licences that apply

  • 《FDE 现场工程手册》 (opentsc) is CC BY-SA 4.0. Material drawn from it is attributed, the modification is described, and the derived article is shared under the same licence. Case material in that handbook was anonymised before publication; this site keeps it anonymous and does not attempt to re-identify customers.
  • 《前线部署工程师》 (范冰 / xdash) is published for free reading online, with commercial reuse requiring the author's written permission. This site holds no commercial licence to that manuscript and therefore takes ideas, structure and public facts from it — not text, tables or chapter frameworks reproduced verbatim.
  • Public repository and vendor documentation is quoted only in the forms its own licence allows, with a link to the original.
  • Forum and community posts are used as testimony, not as source text: the claim is re-derived, and the post is linked so a reader can judge it.

Corrections

A correction changes the article and adds a dated note at the bottom. Silent edits are reserved for typos and broken links. If a source asked for material to be withdrawn — a customer exercising that right, or an author withdrawing permission — the passage is removed and the removal is recorded rather than the page being rewritten to hide it.

What counts as a source

Documents a reader can open: a repository, a handbook, a report, a public job description, a recording. Private conversations are useful for deciding what to check, never for what to assert. Every article that leans on an external framework lists its sources at the bottom of the page.
